Rec'd series books/ Cindy Gerard: The BodyGuard

I know, I waited too long to post my favorite books to recommend. But with everything going on: my life, emails, reading books, blog and memes I just didn't had the time to post recommend. Sorry for delay. But todayI'm recommeding...

The BodyGuard series by Cindy Gerard

I've been quite a fan of Cindy Gerard's BodyGuard series when a friend recommend me these series. I started with To the Edge and then pick up the rest from there. And now I'm on book #3, and I hope to be able to read this together with a friend. again. I enjoy the first two books that I read and hope to continue to reading the rest before or during this summer. There are already 5 books out and the latest book #6 will be release in June 2007.

The BodyGuard is the men and women of "E.D.E.N" Securities, Inc. They not only guard you your body but steal your heart and full fill your deepest desired. We have three sibling who were a Former Special Forces, a Former Force Recon, a Former Secret Services and a Former Army Ranger. Ethan, Dallas, Eve and Nolan take their assignment seriously. Each sibling have their own stories told, and when it come to relationship they not only fall in love but protected them with their body. You would fall in love with the heroes/heroine and wish them a HEA too.

Thursday Thirteen: Edition #12

Thirteen Top Books in My TBR Piles

These are not listed in order that I going to read. I'm just listing it as I go. The following books have been in my TBR piles for far too long that I thought it time to read it. But I hope it would goes as planned because things always change and I might not end up reading some of them. To know me is to know what type of genres book I read. I always favor the Romance Suspense the most...here is my list...Happy Thursday Thirteen - have a good day!

1. Aint She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips This have been in my TBR pile for far too long and I decided to read it, after hearing the pro and the con of this book reviews...I'm just curious enough to read it.

2. Ice Blue by Anne Stuart Yeah, I had this for about two weeks now and am waiting for a good friend to get her copy so that we can read it together *grin*. I been waiting forever for this book to be released, that I actually grabbed the book and in my haste to get to the checkout counter I accidentally shove someone out of my way LOL. And no...am not planning to read it ahead without my friend, until she get the copy first! *grin*

3. Megan's Mark by Lora Leigh She is an erotic ebooks/print book author. I have read "Dangerous Games" and it was very steamy, and hot! I know that "Megan's Mark" is part of the Breed Series and there whole lot of books to go through before I'm able to read this one. This been in my TBR pile for two years.

4. The Last Spymaster by Gayle Lynds I never read books by this author before, so she is new international author to me. But the reviews, blurbs and excerpts that I read was very interesting. It is a thriller book and it has spy! I recently won this book from contest at her website.

5. Chasing Stanley by Deirdre Martin I believe that this is the 5th book to the New York Blades series. It Contemporary Romance about a New York hockey team and each members of the team get their own stories (but in "Total Rush" the hero is firefighter and close relation to the members of the NY Blade team. I believe.)

6. Have You Seen Her by Karen Rose This is part of an connection books and there are total of 6th of them in all. This one is book #2. I have read the first book "Don't Tell" and really like it. I waited too long to read this because I was too engrossed in other books series at the time....I wonder if I'm ever gonna keep up in time before the next book is out. This is Romance Suspense

7. Deadly Game by Christine Feehan I'm big fan of Christine's Ghostwalker series. It is Romance Suspense with military team and psychic enhancement in them. I been waiting for long time for this book to arrive. But when it finally did, it just end up sitting in my TBR pile for....4 weeks now. I'm going to finally read it soon...YAY!

8. Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare This is the first book to an on going series. The 2nd book is "Hard Evidence". I know I put the 2nd book on my side bar of this blog already instead of the first book, but if you asking me...no...I have no idea why I did that. I don't normally read book series out of order. I has this in my TBR pile for very long long time now and I think it about time for me to read it.

9. No Regrets by Shannon K. Butcher Yes I know that she is the wife of the author, Jim Butcher. I heard lot of good thing about Shannon's book that I figure I should read this soon. I brought this at the end of last month.

10. To the Brink by Cindy Gerard This is the third book to the Bodyguard series. Last time, I was supposedly be reading book #2 together with a friend but outside her computer life kept her busy and delay her reading time. So I end up reading it on my own. Now that the third book is out, I hope we can read this together too. It been sitting in my TBR pile ever since it release dates. So it been many years.

11. Delicious This is part of the " The Buchanans" series. It has been sitting in my TBR pile for maybe 2 years now and I just think it about time to read it. I happen to won this book from a yahoo reading group list that I subscribe to. And following after that year I won book #2 "Irresistible" and then brought book #3 "Sizzling" at my local Walmart. And "Tempting" will be out in July of 2007. It Contemporary Romance.

12. Don't Say a Word by Barbara Freethy Now this have been in my TBR pile forever and I think it about time to read it. Darla recommend this to me a long time ago and I just never gotten around to reading it...sorry *duck head*. It is Romance Suspense and that is my favorite type of genre I like to read.

13. In a Heartbeat by Rita Herron I won this book and it been sitting in my TBR pile since last three years(or maybe 4yrs). I never read book by this author before either. She is Romance Suspense too.

But of course, there are whole lot of other books in my TBR pile too. But since only 13 is allow, then 13 is all I can list :)

Match Game by Beverly Brandt

(Contemporary Romance)

Beverly Brandt website

When Reverend Black ask the guests if anyone object to the couple marriage, Accountant Savannah Taylor started to vision, like so many time when she watch her favorite classic movie with Doris Day and Gary Grant or Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger at the end of "Bridget Jones Diary", that she wish the door would bust open and a dark tortured hero would tell her that he tried to love her from afar but couldn't no longer deny his feeling for her and then sweep her off her feet. But instead her wedding was interrupted when a cops bust in and wrongfully arrest her at the alter for money laundering and tax evasion. But later she was released after she prove to the FBI that someone else has stole her identity and rang up her bills. But even proven her innocence did not sway her fiance, Todd to stay with her. He as soon left her because he think she "wasn't worth the trouble".

Savannah soon realized, after she discover the fake "Vanna" who stole her identity, that she been living a much better life then her. She decided to change and reinvent herself and become the new Vanna. So she tried to do the opposite of what the old Savannah would do. While going through the changes she also decided to leave home and take off to Naples, Florida to find her identity thief - hoping that maybe the answers to all her problem would be found there. And find a new job. It was there when she met Mike Bryson.

A US Air Marshall Mike Bryson, learn that his mother who has a habit to matchmaking her two sons, has rent a room to Savannah at the Sand Dune Motel without running a background check file on her. So he decided to take it in his own hand to hired the private investigation to check on her instead. But he couldn't help but be attracted to her. He didn't think Savannah is his type - after all he refer the practical and responsible women.

I like that the book has many reference of the 80's background history in the story, because those were my favorite time. Reading it make me look back at those wonderful time in my childhood days when I live through the 80's years whether it musics, movies, styles, shows, clothes, toys or people. It fun years to me. I also think if is fun to have some quizzes at the end of each chapters from the book.

I learn later that Beverly brandt and Jacey Ford (same author) are overlapping the stories. You should read Match Game(Beverly Brandt) before reading Dead Heat (Jacey Ford's Partners in Crime series) because Mike Bryson is brother of Sam Bryson from Dead Heat. Plus if you remember their mother Lillian who own the company, Rules of Engagement, is seen in both books too. She the one who has bad history of setting up her two sons with date. I highly recommend you to read "Partner in Crime" series. It is Romance Suspense books. click here to get to her other pen name, Jacey Ford. It has more adventure, actions and romance in them, which I like! :)

Match Game is a fun and easy read book. And there were laugh out loud scenes. Deep writing in depth and characters were likable. The story were good but a little predictable at a time.

Book #2 Dating Games is already out since October 2006.

Seasonal Reading

Booking Through Thursday

  1. Does what you read vary by the season? For instance, Do you read different kinds of books in the summer than the winter?

  2. If so, do you break it down by genre, length of book, or...?

- Although romance suspense is my favorite genres, I do read vary different kind of genres book. But I never read for the season. I just whatever books that I am in the moods for no matter what season it is.

However, every once in awhile I try to read a Christmas book during Christmas time. Mine favorite holidays ;)I just tend to not always read the Christmas books during holiday because there always something else I REALLY want to read before it, that I need to get to or else I'll be far behind on the series books. *grin*. But last year I was able to read one and it was fun. Hope I'm able to do it again this year, but don't count me on it. It never goes the way I planned and I do notice there are more books coming out around that time. And it not Christmas theme *grin*

How about you? Answer it here on the comments box :)

Monica's Manhunt by Honey Jans

(Erotic Romance) * * * * Stars
Monica realized that her biological clock is ticking and she decided to it's time to find a real man. So she compile a list of perspective men who might be a good choice. She hope to find someone who can see past her provocative profession and savor her sexy wares. But she never expected to fall in Matt arms, when he stopped by "Spice", a shop that specialized in marital aids and slinky lingerie. He always there when she in trouble and need help.

Matt Shepard prepared to met Monica Lander at "Spice", owned by Monica, to discuss with her about the bachelor and bridal shower party that they are throwing for his brother Will and future sister in law April. But upon meeting Monica, he was in heaven. But when he found out about Monica's manhunt lists, he wanted her to pen him in the lists too.

Their instant connection, was electrifying and hot. Each time they're together, they spark the pages.

This is the first time I read book by Honey Jans. She is an E-book author but some of her books have been published in print books. Monica's Manhunt was a good book. The characters were likable and fun. There was not enough story background about each characters, but it was enough to understand where they are coming from. It was a quick but fun read and I enjoy it.

'Fess Up!

Booking Through Thursday

Okay, there must be something you read that's a guilty pleasure . . . a Harlequin romance stashed under the mattress. A cheesy sci-fi book tucked in the back of the freezer. A celebrity biography, a phoned-in Western . . . something that you'd really rather not be spotted reading. Even just a novel if you're a die-hard non-fiction fan. Come on, confess. We won't hold it against you!

- There are many books that I read that I might consider as guilty pleasure and one I might consider are not. It just the question of what is guilty pleasure to you.

I think mainly to me, it would be the erotic genre that I would think be my guilty pleasure. I admit I have hide some erotic books, but there are some erotics that are put on shelves where it can be display for the world to see *grin*. I do love my erotic books.......enough said! :)

P.S. - You might wonder why I would hide my books in public, even when am upset about people labeling the book as "trashy" books. If am upset about that, I shouldn't hide it and not care what people think, right? Well I hide it because I don't want to go through confrontation with someone who tell me my books are trash. I want to avoid that at all cost. I may not be shy online, but I am in person. And if I know you, then am not shy to show you my erotic books or any books :) OOPs! I'm chatty today LOL!

Thursday Thirteen: Edition # 10

13 Things I can't live without

Ever have something that you dearly love but can't live without? And you can't imagine what it'll be like if you don't have these thing? You start to learn to appreciate them more instead of just b*tching about them *grin*...here are my list (P.S. please forgive me for my errors)

Books - I have always been a reader since I was little. My first book was about(If I remember) 4 little puppies who love to roll through the hill. And one puppies got lost and the other went to in search for him. Then "Harold the Purple Crayon" was my favorite as kid. Something about Harold want to follow the purple line and see where it take him. And he discover exciting thing. And when he realized he want to go home, he drew the window and he end up in his bed staring at the moon. From there I began to read from "Anne of the Green Gable" to historical books to Judith McNaught and then Nora Roberts. Lot of many years of great reading. I became a avid reader ever since then. Without my favorite books, I weren't know how I can make it through the days ;)

My Computer/Internet - Of course everyone understand this, right? *grin*. I relay my computer to help me find info on the Internet. It also bring me entertainment: like musics, video, IMs chatting, yahoo group chat, blogging..etc. But most important it bring me friends. Friends who I can talk and count on them to raise my spirit up and have common thing with me. And of course I can keep in touch with my families who live many distance away :)

TV/VCR - Everyone who know me, know that am addicted to TV. Without it I weren't get to know many great entertaining shows. There are so many TV shows I watch that sometime I just couldn't keep up. So that where VCR come in *grin*. I'm grateful for the VCR and be able to catch up on all my favorite shows on tape, when I know I'm going to miss because other shows come on the same time as the others. There is running joke between me and one of my friend. We said that I watch so many shows that I should marry my TV LOL!

DVD playerThen of course everyone know I love to watch movies! Sometime it is better to watch the movies in DVDs and at home. Why? Because you can pause it when you need a bathroom break. Rewind or fast forward to the part you either missed or want to repeatedly see again *grin*. Have the peace of quiet watching the movies without interruption or loud noises. Laugh, cry or even shout while watching the movies all by yourself *grin*

Coffee - Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I would want is some coffee. If I don't get any, I'm going to be cranky. I drink Cafe Du Monde or the instant Asian coffee. One cup would do it for the rest of the day for me *grin*

Cell Phone - I love my cell phone because I can talk over the phone with my friends and keep contact with my nieces. Not only that, being hearing impaired it help when I can text messages too. AND cell phone is so easy when you want to find where the person are in the mall (or other big places) and be able to reach them. I swear without the cell phone, I be searching up and down and around and around the mall looking for my mom *sigh*.

Camera - I love the camera I have. It a Kodak digital camera. I love that you can safe the picture into the memory card and when you want to print it out, you can go to your local photo store and have it developed. Or you can load the pictures into your computer and then upload it to online photo store (I use Walmart.com online)and order the print either by mail delivery, online pick up or 1-hour pick up. I love the fact that once I upload my pictures to Walmart.com online I can chose an option to have my print picture in 1 hour and then drive up to my local Walmart and pick it up. It make it easier for me and it worth it. The digital camera help safe my life *grin*

Scrapbooks Albums/Scrapbooks Tools - I love to hand-made something that will bring many years of memories to generation to generation. The scrapbook albums I made would be pass down to members of the family so that one day they can passed to their children and so on. It nice way to keep in memories of the people who have passed away. You would feel as if you were part of their life when going through this albums. The albums help me to see who I am, where I came from and why am I the way I am today.

My soft blanket - There this velvet soft blanket that my mother brought for me when she went on trip to Vietnam. She was there to visit her mother and other members of the family. She stayed for a month there and told us she had fun. She thought about me when she brought the red velvet flowers blanket. She knew that I need one and was missing the family here while she was there. So when she came home and present me with this blanket, I got excited. I still have this blanket in my bedroom and use it all the time. I just love the blanket because it hold a story to it. This blanket make me close to my mom. If she not around, this blanket will remind me of her. :)

My Favorite Mom's Home Cooking - Everyone have their favorite home cooking made by their mom, right? Well so do I :) A nice feeling to come home and knowing what await you is your favorite foods. My mother best specialty is Egg Rolls. It so delicious! Even some neighbors or friends would ask mom to make Egg Rolls for a party they're throwing at their house. Mom sometime make it during the holidays and give it to friends as gift. They love it and always crave for her to make more ;) I also love mom's Pho. It Vietnamese soup that is made with white Versailles noodle and chicken broth (fav broth juice is beef) with veggie. There are lot more favorite, but I don't want to bored you *grin*.....

Musics - My friends would kill me if they even hear a notes coming out of my mouth. While I love to sing I don't have the talent voice for it *grin*. But listening and singing along to the musics help me relax after a very long exhausting day. I also listen to my favorite CD's while doing dishes or cleaning because it help make the chore fun LOL

Hair Shampoo and Condition - I have thick hair and with shampoo and condition it help to soften my hairs without it getting tangle. It relax the hair and even balance, body volume and make your hair smell great. Did I mention I have thick hair? Thanks god for this product. Everyone want to look nice right? *grin*

Shoes - Shoes give me the height to be able to walk a little taller. Without it I would feel a little shorter. Not that it would make me taller to 5 feet 8 or whatever but it give me the confidence and made me feel good about myself. My shoes isn't growing bigger then other people I have seen, but it big enough that my closet doesn't have any more room for more....*sigh* I has so many shoes that I never realized that I have became a shoes slut LOL!

What about you? Is there something you can't live without?

Booking Through Thursday

Have you ever missed an important appointment because you have become so engrossed in a book you forgot the time or were up so late reading that you didn't wake up in time? Been late to work because you couldn't resist the temptation and left the house too late?Suggested by Jacquie.

Don't forget to leave a link to your actual response in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

- I do missed a TV shows when am too engrossed in a book that I forgotten to find out what happen after the commerical ended. And few time I even forgot to watch that I missed the whole show all together *grin*. Old habit of mine :)

I do read in bed at night. And when I do, if I'm too engrossed with the book I end up reading it until 5AM in the morning - Yike! So I wake up late to go to work (even though my mother own her small work shop) but it isn't that big deal sometime if we're late. Unless if we know that customers coming to pick up their clothes that day. Then there is cost to worry *grin*.

Hot Night by Shannon Mckenna

Shannon Mckenna website

(Erotic Contemporary Romance/Suspense) * * * * 1/2

Abby Maitland, a development manager for the museum, has history of bad relationship with bad boy. So she sworn to avoid dating them, and made a list of strict criteria for men she dates. But an unexpected locksmith, Zan has changed all that, when she call his company after being locked out of her apartment building. She became mesmerized with him when he protected her from a drunk date gone bad and couldn't get him out her mind. He is everything a bad boy is to be...and yet everything she sworn to avoid.

Zan, a locksmith who work at A Night Owl,was driving on the road trying to get away from everything-including a problem at home with his family. They constantly tell him to changes: his career, his coping mechanisms and personality. He just want to get away and focus on a nice night in the sky. But after hearing Abby protesting cry over the phone, he fear she might be in trouble. But he never thought he'll be attracted to Abby and found it very ironic that every time she in date trouble that she always called him

But a murder stalked both of them and the cat and mouse game to find the lost treasure became dangerous. Abby knew that her friend did not died of suicide and that she was murdered. But no one believe her, so to find the killer mean she has to do it on her own whether if Zan like it or not.

Usually I love Shannon Mckenna's books (especially the McCloud Brother series). Her alpha heroes are always dark and very arrogant controlling, domineering macho males. Zan in this case is alpha but not alpha enough to be dark (like McKenna's other previous heroes) but good enough to be likable. He just a little different, and I'm not sure if that is because this book isn't part of the McCloud Brother series. Or is it? I like Zan and he is good character. I know he got his flaws and I don't fault him for that reason. But he protect what is his and that one of the likable thing about him. His family may not be explored thoroughly, but it was seen and reasonably written enough to get to know them a little better. You know there is interaction between the family. This is an hint for that "someday" that the Duncan clan story will be told (From McKenna newsletter, she said she like to explored the Duncan family someday). Abby, the main heroine was strong and likable too. This wasn't the "whodunit" plot line but it was good well written plot. And what you expected of the hot steamy scenes from McKenna is still there :)

Shannon McKenna is an auto buy for me and am always looking forward to her new books coming out. The bad boy heroes, whether they're the good or the bad, is always a likable heroes in her books IMO. One of the thing I love about Mckenna work is that you can always count on her to always have a good plot line and not just only all about sex (mind you I love her sex scenes!) And a good writing in depth with good characters. I don't think you can go any wrong with her books.

Hot Night is a very fast pace and steamy reading. Great romance between the characters and good plot with a little good humors. The suspense were good and the villain were well crafted written. It wasn't one of my favorite book of McKenna but it is a good book and I enjoy it! I think reader should try reading it.

If you like to try her other work, then do try her McCloud Brother series. Here is the order the books is to be read:

The McCloud Brothers series:

1. Behind Closed Door
2. Standing In the Shadows
3. Out of Control
4. Edge of the Midnight (release August 2007)

10 Highschool Memories

1. The guy who I thought was going to take me to the prom ended up sending me note saying he was kidding about the whole thing, and never tend to take me. Long story, but I end up hating him since then. But now I'm over it. And his sister happen to be one of my best friend, who I still contact. Without her, I weren't be able to make it through the years. There were many good memories of our friendship

2. I never went to the prom on both my Junior and Senior years, even though when I tried to find a date. I want to party like everyone too. However, I was glad I didn't go. I spent all that night watching movies with my close gal-friends. We had a great times. It was a night to remember!

3. I was never a smart or Honor Roll in highschool, but when I saw that my grade on my report were good enough to be part of an Honor Roll student - I was so excited. There was an breakfast event for all Honor Roll that week. And I participated. It was really fun to be in the same room with all the other Honor student! It only happen once, but it was the highlight for me and my family that week :)

4. We use to have this thing that we call "Carnation Days" where the club donated roses to all the people who want to order one for their Valentine in school. And you can attached a notes that was tied with ribbons(we punch a hole in the notes to thread the ribbon through it). I used to love this events because not only are they selling it for Valentine but for any other holidays. It was lot of fun getting roses from your love one. And cute written notes of loves :)

5. When I was in school we had a "Spirit Day", which always happen when our school football team are playing against other schools that day. We would have a themes to dress up to show our spirit to the team for each weeks. I did the "boys/girls exchange". I had to dress like a boy. Then we had "Polka Dot Day" in which we wear something that has dots in them. We also did "Babies Day", everyone has to dress in baby clothes and use babies stuff(blanket, pacifiers, bottles..etc.) It was lot of fun to watch what everyone come up with.

6. Homecoming Spirit was also lot of fun too. It the spirit for homecoming games. Our school would have a door contest. Each homeroom class have to make up an idea that goes with our homecoming game themes title and decorated it on their doors. Some homerooms were very creative as they used craft papers roll and paste it all over their doors with their decoration themes. The homeroom class winner get prizes. It was lot of fun. I think once, our themes was under the seas. We had to make up something that had to do with seas and use catchy words for the tiles. Can not recall what we came up with but I remember how pretty it was :)

7. Even though I never try out for any sports or cheerleader (thanks goodness! - sorry nothing against people who did!) but I always want to try the newspapers staff. Every weeks, on Friday, there be newsletter to hand out to any student who wish to buy one. And I always buy it every Fridays just to catch up on events or things that happen on the news. I guess reading the newspapers is like reading a book, which is probably why I was excited to get one every Friday, like I would be when I found new books to read *grin*

8. I had crush on a Senior guy when I was in the 10th grade. He was very tall, broad and handsome. He would smile at me every time he say hello to me. And all I can do is smile and blush *LOL*...he and I became friend after. I wonder what ever happen to him? *grin*. There was another guy I had crush on but got embarrassed when he read the note that was supposedly for a gal friend. And most of the notes was all about him LOL! I was drooling in that notes *looking embarrassed now* I end up not dating them though, even though they were very nice to me

9. During lunch hours, I would sit inside the school building, on the carpet floor. It where people usually sit and hang out while they eating lunch. I was never a lunch person in the lunch room, so am always sitting inside the building chatting with my close good friends on the floor. It was a lot of laughs. It the favorite place of the school building we hang out at.

10. The day when I said a sad goodbye to my school and classmate was the day when I graduated with my classmate. It was a sad farewell and most of the time I spent it in tears as I hug my friends goodbye. We were going in different direction, so we knew we won't be seeing each other for longest time. I still think about my friends and wonder what happen to them. From time to time(even now), I even pull out my Senior year book and look at the old pictures of my friends. :)

What about you? What your 10 Highschool memories?

P.S - please excuse my errors. I'm on rush ;) :)

Montana Skies by Kay Stockham

Kay Stockham website

(Harlequin Super Romance)

After the death of her husband, Rissa Mathews and her fourteen years old daughter Skylar move from New York City to North Star, Montana. Rissa decided to agree to stay with Maura at the Second Chance Ranch and help around the ranch, until she is able to find a job as a pilot. And hope that by that time, she can move away from their temporary home and return back to normal life. But Skylar refuses to fit in the new school and have causes trouble. She had change suddenly from being innocent child into a gothic-look appearance. And now everyone in town don't want her daughter near their children. No matter how much Rissa try, she couldn't get through her daughter to talk to her about what happen to her that made her changed so much.

Jonas, a sheriff, caught Rissa speeding and was just about to hand her a ticket but has a heart when he learn that Rissa's husband had die in car accident. He understood what it felt like to lose someone too. His wife left him, to raise their shy and insecure daughter, Caroline on his own. Not everything is happy in Jonas life either. As he try to be the father he knew how with his daughter, things have gotten out of hand when he realize he didn't know his daughter as he thought he did.

The struggle of being a single parent were hard, as both Rissa and Jonas tried to make the best they know how with their own daughters. But as they watch closely, they realized that when their daughters are together, it seem their friendship bring out the best in each other. And Rissa see it, that it a good thing. And just maybe...Skylar would be herself again and trust Rissa enough to tell her what have changed her. But not only does the girl friendship get closer, but it also bring Rissa and Jonas closer. And that scared Rissa since she afraid that when she does leave Montana, does it also mean leaving Jonas and Caroline too? The romance between them were sizzling but it is a struggle too as both try to understand each other issues.

Montana Skies has been an emotional involving story for me. As I watch both girls dealing with issues, you just couldn't help but cry for them. I can feel their wanting to belong. Or the pain one of them went through as she struggle to hide the little secret from her parent. I stay up late, turning the page until the end to find out what that secret was. And what I discover wasn't really a surprise (since I knew at the back of my mind what it was) but it is however a tiny bit surprise about what happen and situation. She was an interesting character for me. Each characters has issues that need to be confronted, forgiven and find love again. Love the interaction between the girls friendship and their parent. The romance between Rissa and jonas was sizzling hot that you wonder if they might see blue skies again. A very powerful book about friendship, romance and love :)

Kay Stockham did great job of making us feel for each characters. Wonderful case of characters and the dialogs were well written book. I can't wait to read more book by Kay Stockham, it was a wonderful book!

More available books by Kay stockham:

1. Montana Secrets (I believe this book is sorta loose linked to Montana Skies)

2. Man With A Past

P.S. - Again I really tried to not spoiler this review, but am afraid I may have. Sorry about that too :) Now I need to be quiet, I talked too much LOL
