Thanksful !

Booking Through Thursday

Today is Thanksgiving here in the U.S.

Now, you may have noticed that the global economy isn’t exactly doing well. There’s war. Starvation. All sorts of bad, scary things going on.

So–just for today–how about sharing 7 things that you’re thankful for

This can be about books, sure–authors you appreciate, books you love, an ode to your public library–but also, how about other things, too? Because in times like these, with bills piling up and disaster seemingly lurking around every corner, it’s more important than ever to stop and take stock of the things we’re grateful for. Family. Friends. Good health (I hope). Coffee and tea. Turkey. Sunshine. Wagging tails. Curling up with a good book.

So, how about it? Spread a little positive thinking and tell the world what there is to be thankful for.

First I want to wish EVERYONE a Happy Thanksgiving! May you all have a wonderful times spent with family and friends!

I'm thankful for my lovely family and friends in my life, who have been there for me when I need them and very supportive (I thanks YOU!). I'm also thankful for things that I have now instead of things I can't have. I appreciate it lot more. I am also thankful for little things that only mean whole lot more than things that are big (because it hold special meaning to my heart). I'm thankful for the things I'm passionate about (books, scrapbooking, TV shows, movies, photos/camera..etc) And I'm thankful for good things happen and good health.

P.S. I just finish eating the Turkey dinner, but so sorry for not taking pictures before we dig in the foods LOL! *grin*

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Smiling - Happy BTTs and Happy Thanksgiving to you too :)

Alice - I'm thanksful for you in my life too *grin*...thanks for comments. And am so sorry for not taken pictures of Thanksgiving foods. The night before I didn't get any sleep, just 4 hours. And I had to wake up real early the next morning to start cooking. And I was soooo tired. By the time the foods was done, I was just ready to dig in. On my 2nd plate, was when I realize I didn't take pictures. And I was planning to, for you :)

Poor Julia. You had better go get some rest and don't stay up so late... It's OK, don't worry about the turkey thingy, but thanks for the thought anyway. *GRIN*

I did get at lease two hours of sleep after I ate. And then 5 hours later we ate again, from Thanksgiving left over LOL. I was thinking of you when I planned to take pictures, but was so disappointed that I forgotten LOL! We had : Turkey, greenbean casserole, cornbread dressing, stuffing, cranberry sauce, Macroni and Cheese and brownie (we were suppose to get pumpkin pie, but we forgot. so replace it with brownies).
