Kill Me Twice * * * * 1/2

(Romance Suspense)
Kill Me Twice is the first book to the "Bullet Catchers" series. In slang term, the Bullet Catcher mean bodyguard. But this book, in this case is secret firm ran by a former CIA agent and staffed by hunks, hot and handsome men who experts in protection and safety. There are so far 3 "Bullet Catcher" books out. Kill Me Twice, Thrill Me to Death and You Can Count on Me (I'll Be Home for Christmas anthology - just released on October 2006). To learn more about "Bullet Catcher" series, click this link Roxanne St. Claire website . You will also find information on each Bullet Catchers characters, the role they play and the picture image of who Roxanne St. Claire think each characters would look like from the above link website. It is interesting!

I admit that during the first few Chapters, I wasn't sure how well I was going to like this book. Because I wasn't sure if the heroine would be someone I would like. But as I continued reading, things started to move on quickly. And OMG I love it :) It was action pack, with sizzling romance, danger and thrilling emotion ride. Two strong main characters and two men from "Bullet Catchers" firm to love.

Alex Romero is a bodyguard, who was hired by Kimball Parrish, to protect his client Jessica Adams. Instead he ended up protecting the wrong twin sister, when he realized that the unprotected woman he tried to teach a lesson to was Jazz Adams. But he doesn't walk away from her, even when she doesn't want his protection.

Jasmine (Jazz) Adams is private investigator, who is trying to catch the creep who is stalking her twin sister, Jessica. The struggle to find the stalker on her own was difficult, especially with her bodyguard, Alex Romero, seem to think he needed to follow her every moves to help her find her sister. And Jazz did not want his help. But when she uncover a dark mystery, she discover there was something bigger than the stalking and her missing sister. To find the lead to her sister, she must pretend to be Jessica, where she work as TV reporter. Jazz also relied on Alex and the two men from "Bullet Catcher" firm, Max and Dan, to help to find her sister before it too late.

But on the mission, Alex and Jazz can't help but become attracted to one another. And the romance between them became sizzling hot. They fell in love but tried to fight off admitting to it.

What happen at the end was a very thrilling ride to a good ending. There is a small twist to the story. You will also see more on the two Bullet Catcher men, Dan and Max as they get their own story. I think this have been a good read for me since last month. I highly recommend this to anyone if you like series book, actions, strong main characters and good ending. :)

I can't wait to read the second book Thrill Me to Death ! Better published this off or I'll give myself a big aheadache trying to make this review good *sigh*...... *grin*

Thrill Me to Death is an exceptional addition to Roxanne St. Claire’s Bullet Catcher series. It’s emotionally packed with all sorts of twists, turns and danger not to mention the sensual tension and scenes between the main characters Max and Cori.

If you’ve read St. Claire’s books Max Roper, first appeared in Tropical Getaway, her debut novel. Max left the DEA and followed his best buddy, Dan to the security and personal protection business as a Bullet Catcher. Max also makes an appearance in the first book of the series, KILL ME TWICE One gets the impression that Max is not only handsome and strong but shows absolutely no emotion. Wrong….. in this book, the reader will absolutely fall in love with this man who keeps to himself, holds back and will soon have the answers revealed in his past.

Enter Cori Peyton, Max’s Bullet Catcher assignment. Max is assigned to protect Cori and is hired to be her bodyguard and security expert. They have a past history, at one time they were in love and hoped to marry. However, things happened and Cori ended up marrying an older millionaire who has died and his death is being questioned and Cori’s now in possible danger. Max is to sort this out and put all personal feelings aside.

I enjoyed THRILL ME TO DEATH due to the danger, the cast of characters and of course the romance. Max and Cori’s love story is so full of passion and tension and how they find their way back to each other is an emotional rollercoaster ride. There are so many twists and turns to this very exciting romance/suspense and again St. Claire has written a winner!

There are other interesting characters, her stepson, attorney, best friend Breezy and a cast of other Bullet Catcher’s. This is a book I’ve been waiting for since I read KILL ME TWICE and I wasn’t disappointed. I can’t wait for the next in the series

YOU CAN COUNT ON ME……….from I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS……..If you ever see anyone or you personally like vodka, there is a scene that will make you literally “drool”.

I would also suggest reading KILLER CURVES AND HIT REPLY. Roxanne is an incredible author.
