Last Weekend: Prizes fill with books!

Last Saturday I got the 2nd book to Leslie Parrish's A Black Cats series, Pitch Black. I have not even start on the first book Fade to Black yet but I will. After hearing good reviews on the first book, I just knew I must grab a copy for Pitch! The 3rd book Black at Heart will be release next month, on September 2009. Looking forward in getting that one soon!

Here is the back blurb of Pitch Black:
A group of elite FBI special agents has been brought together to form the Cyber Action team, aka CAT - and they have one mission to solve Internet-related murders.

Former profiler Alec Lambert would give anything to catch the Professor, a serial killer who lures his victims with Internet scams. Now working with the Black CATs, Alec finally has his chance.

When two teen boys are lured to a cruel icy death, Alec teams up with reclusive scam expert Samantha Dalton, who may be able to find out where the madman will strike next. Despite Alec's intense attraction to Sam, he's fiercely determined to keep their relationship professional. As they draw ever closer to discovering the Professor's identity and stopping his murderous rampage, they realize Sam is the psychotic killer's new obsession. And possibly his next target...

This sound good, and I can't wait to dive into the first book. Have I mention I love to read series books? I do. And I read LOTs of them :) Although there were few other good books on shelves, I didn't buy them. I want to wait to get it later.

I would like to thanks Sandy Blair, the author of the wonderful Highlander paranormal historical Kilt series (wonderful series by the way), for the RWA goodies prize! I love everything in the packages. Lots of books to read! And I would also like to thanks Melody for a copy of The Grand Sophy by Georgette Heyer, that I've won from the contest at her blog. The cover art is beautifully made. Love it! I'm looking forward to reading these books soon :)

I wish everyone to have a good day!

Enjoy your books, Julia!

And I've to thank Sourcebooks for their generosity in giving the two books for the contest. I hope you'll enjoy reading The Grand Sophy as much as I did! ;)
