Books Books Books!

On the weekend, I brought the following books. Five of these books are new to me authors. But Lora Leigh is the only author I'm familiar with and have read most of her books over the years. I heard lot of raves about Leslie Parrish's Black CATs trilogy, from words of the mouth and bloggers. Many have written reviews, given this trilogy an excellent grade. So that peek my interested to pick copies of all three books. Black at Heart is the latest book out this month. I also heard lots of raves and read reviews about Julia London's What Happens in Londons from same people, above, and after my good friend Pam and I talked about it via emails, I pick a copy of that too. Than I read a honest and good review about Chelsea Cain's thriller series book about Gretchen Lowell, from a blogger who always seem to tempted me with fast buying books than I can read them *grin*. After reading introduction of Cain's next book Evil at Heart and read review on Sweetheart from that blogger, I knew I must grab copy of the first two books and add it to my mountain TBR pile. I even poke at my friend to get her attention to grab a copy, because I knew that this would be the kind of book she would love to read. She end up buying copy of the first two ;) And lastly, Can't Stand the Heat and A Dark Love was a last minute books I brought. Yes, I did read information on it online before buying them. But at the time, I was unsure if I want to get copy. I just hope all these books is as great as people said they are. Below is the blurbs of each book. If you click on the author names, it take you directly to their website :) Happy Reading!

Alice - Hey! If you're thinking about getting copy of "Sweetheart" than you must start with "Heartsick" first before starting "Sweetheart". And than later, "Evil at Heart" will be released. This going to be part of an on going series..I think. Or maybe trilogy. Not sure which ;)
