Format

Booking Through Thursday

All other things (like price and storage space) being equal, given a choice in a perfect world, would you rather have paperbacks in your library? Or hardcovers? And why?

- Honestly in my perfect world, I would love the idea of hardcovers sitting on my bookshelves in the library. It stand bold and tall, and look very nice and neat in the row in large library. It make the room look nice. And adding ladder and chair make the room look more like a library room.

But I probably rather have both hardcovers and paperbacks. Even new first edition would be nice. Why? Because I would want the room to fit my personality. These format place into the library shelves would feel more like ME, my perfect world.

P.S. Yes that me babbling LOL

Hi Julia! I love both formats, specifically hardbacks for business books and paperbacks for novels. :)

Melody - book lover should have everything...why can't we? ;)

Marianne - Good idea. That my thinking too :)

Alice - The hardback would look very nice in lirary room, I will think. But I love both formats too :)

Gautami - I normally buy paperbacks, because it easiest for me to hold and carry them around. I have small hand...

Wanting hardcovers because they look good in your library...

That is exactly what my husband likes about hardcovers. He adores them. I see them as necessary only if the paperback isn't out yet.

Luckily, the library keeps us from having to buy many books and debate the issue much.

Kim - I normally always buy paperbacks the most. Easier for me to hold (my hand is small) and carry it around. But I buy hardcovers from few of my favorite authors. I love library too, it where I go when I want to try "new to me authors".

Literary feline - It sure is. And it must need :)

Thanks everyone for stopping by. I hope you have good weekend ahead :)
