Musing Mondays

Musing Mondays' link

Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about your to be read list…
As a follow up to last week's question, Joseph asked how you keep track of your tbr list. Do you have a paper list or on your computer? Do you take it with you when you go shopping? How do you decide what gets added to it?

A friend of mine use a computer graphs and use it to add in (herself) author's upcoming/re-print/reissues books for each months with the schedule street release dates for each books. She have given me a copy of the graph, which I have saved in my computer. Sometime though I forget to add them in my graph, so instead I wrote it down on papers and take it with me. Sometime though, I don't need to take the papers because I remember which books I'm looking for or the one I want when I go book shopping at my local bookstores. It always great to have papers nearby when you go online book shopping. Which I do very often. I rely on readers/friends who raves/recommendation me books - but I would add the books IF the person have same tastes in books that I do. My list on papers aren't always big. Sometime I buy books that not even on my TBR list and it happen to be "new to me authors" too.

I think, maybe I should keep track of my TBR list here on this blog, too. At the beginning, my main reason why I open up my own blog account (3-4 years ago?) is because I want to keep record of all the books that I have read over the years on my blog. That was the purpose of posting here. And since I'm participating on 50 Books Challenge, I knew this be a good place. But than, the blog start to become not just a place for me to keep record of my books I've read, but a place where I can practice my book reviews, pimped *ahem* I mean recommended books, talk about anything, make friends and participates in some meme games. It fun!

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Musing Mondays post, or share your opinion in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks.

I've not heard of anyone using graphs but I'm impressed! I do keep a list if I visit the bookstores but I just don't keep track of the books I bought. Maybe that explains why a few times I ended up with duplicate copies, hmph! LOL.

I keep my TBR on an Excel spreadsheet and the books I want to get are in a small notebook that I carry around with me. It's easier for me.

Melody - I try to remember adding new info on my graph list, but I do tend to forget becaused it's always joint down on papers :) I don't keep track of books that I brought either but I always know if I brought them or not.

Yvonne - I tend to misplace my notebooks, or it doesn't fit into my small handbag. Now I'm learning to buy handbag that would fit in my books *grin*...

Nise - I hope that all the great ideas to organized your TBR books are helpful for you :)

Thanks for stopping by, I wish you to have nice day :)
