I choose, The Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James. This book was her first novel debut so she also new to me. I've heard about this book around blog land and decided to see for myself what all the waves are about. I admit, I enjoy the book :) And yes, I realize this is for August TBR Challenge but I'm just way behind on the challenge and is now able to post it here. When Taylor's boss assign her to "coach" one of the Hollywood most Sexiest Man Alive, Jason Andrews for his upcoming legal thriller script movie, she wasn't happy about it at first. Because for one thing, she was moved to Los Angels to defend a company who is put to trial on charges of work place accused of sexual harassment. And she was schedule to prepare for that trial the day Jason Andrews is to meet with her. But her boss insist that Andrew want to work with a real lawyer and Taylor was it. But Andrew never show up on their first meeting appointment and his assistant reschedule the appointment for the next day, explaining there was a mix up. And again, he never show up either. She was surprise to find out later, from live TV news, that he was at Las Vegas having fun gambling. It was than Taylor grew angry, since she had already re-schedule all her plan for the court trial that day just to be available for him. And he didn't even bother to make the times to come for their appointment meeting or call. Deciding to not give him her time, she walk out of her office to go home for the rest of the day. When he finally show up, he watch Taylor in action during her court trial session and was fascinated by it. And knew that she would be the one that he want to help him with his movie script. Only thing is, Taylor was set to not let a arrogant selfish guy like him get away with doing what he want.

I love that Taylor was smart and put him in his place, after the way he stood her up from the meeting. She was tough and didn't care if he was famous or not, and doesn't go ga ga over him like all the other women/fan did. Because Jason was use to fan throwing themselves at him and wanted his attention, he did not expected Taylor to ignore him or even not want to show her self in front of the camera with him where fan, reporter or paparazzi are seen in public eyes. He see she is different than any women he have been with, and he is intrigue by her.

One of my favorite scene would be the one at the court, where she finally met Jason face to face for first time. Another favorite scene is the T-shirt that he bought for the heroine. The T-shirt had a funny quote saying on them, that made me chuckle. That same quote were used again and it reminded me a lot of a scene from Jerry Maguire movie. I love it ;)

There were few others scenes that made me chuckle and other that made me mad. But at the end, everything turn out okay. A simple good HEA ending. I admit at first I didn't think I'm going to like Jason but than he redeem himself for me. I also like one of Jason friend who is honest and help them see the truth. He also understood Taylor predicament lot more when it come to Jason. I can definitely see this book made into a romance comedies movie in theatre, I think that be interesting to watch.

Just the Sexiest Man Alive is a delightful and charming book that make you chuckle along at the characters. Fast pace reading and fun. I enjoy it. I definitely recommend this book!
