Thursday Thirteen Edition # 4

13 Old Romance songs I love to listen to while I was growing up & now

In honor of yesterday Valentine's Day, some of these songs are really back from the 80's and other were in the 20th century. It was hard to pick all the songs that I thought were romantic, so it down to the one I mostly listen to so often. But since only 13 songs can be on the list, I had to cut off some. Please notice it NOT in any particular order. You can click on the each title's songs and it'll link you directly to the lyrics. Do you remember these songs? ;) :)

The Power of Love by Celine Dion

I Know What Love Is by Celine Dion

The Way (That You Love Me) by Clay Aiken

When You Say You Love Me by Josh Groban

Before Your Love by Kelly Clarkson

Glory of Love by Peter Cetera

Everything I Do, I Do it for You by Bryan Adam

The Search is Over by Survivor

Tonight I Celebrate My Love for You by Perry Como

Making Love Out of Nothing at All by Air Supply

You're the Inspiration by Chicago

Open Arm by Journey

I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston

So What romantic love songs do you still listen to..while growning up and...now? Maybe your list would bring back some memories lane for me ;) :)

Great idea, Julia.

Some of the songs I might know, but just can't remember their titles; and I LOVE Bryan Adam's "Everything I Do, I Do it for You" and Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You". Those are real classics. :)

Awww... very romantic! I loved "Everything I Do, I Do it for You" in the movie Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, and of course "I Will Always Love You" in Bodyguard (as well as in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas).

Hmmm. Guess most of my favorite romantic songs are from movies. Like "Kiss from a Rose" by Seal from Batman.

Meody and Darla - I love the two songs you both like too. I was thinking of doing a theme songs from movie too..but my mind went blank! Kiss From a Rose is my favorite too

Then...I remember some. Like "Somewhere Out There" *duck head* ;)

Did you both know that if you click the titles it would linked you directly to the lyric to each songs?

Great list of romantic songs. :) Bryan Adam's "Everything I Do" is one of my favourites, as is his "Heaven". My all-time favourite love song is "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel - it was the first song played at our wedding. "Something" by the Beatles is another favourite.
