- Of course I read in public. Anywhere I go, the books go with me *grin*. When I have to wait in a line, books will keep me company while I wait for my turn to purchase my products. Or when I have to wait for someone in the "waiting room", so that the family members can go in and for a personal check up appointment, then I will sit and read to pass the time. And when the sun is nice and warm, I will read outside in public to enjoy that weather.
So yes I will read in public :)

I don't understand people who don't read constantly.... I saw a lady at the library check out ONE BOOK today.

Of COURSE I read in public! How else do you surreptitously spread the word about books you love?
I can read outside in public. It's not usually as distracting to me.

And Marianne, my government officials says that Malaysians on average read ONLY 2 books a year. 2 books in 365 days. I can't believe what I read. I don't understand it...

Kristy - Loud noise can distracted me, but if I'm caught up with the story, everything around me is ignore :)
