Just Wild About Harry

Booking Through Thursday

1. Okay, love him or loathe him, you’d have to live under a rock not to know that J.K. Rowling’s final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comes out on Saturday… Are you going to read it?

I admit I started reading Harry Potter books because my niece Trish con me into reading the series *grin*. I have wanted her to try to read one of NR books but she didn't want to..at first. But then she willing to make a compromise deal, she will read one of NR IF I read Harry Potter with her. So we agree to read the book together. Once I start reading the book, it suck me in the magical world of the Wizard Harry Potter. Now I have my niece Trish to blame (the snot! *grin*) for getting me to enjoy both the books and movies. So now we are reading it together for the rest of the books. But I'm up to date with the latest movies. :)
Answer: I love Harry and all the things that go with him and his life. Of course I would read the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

2. If so, right away? Or just, you know, eventually, when you get around to it? Are you attending any of the midnight parties?

I would want to read it right away...just to find out who die. But I still have book #3-6 to read first. Not sure if am attending the midnight party, but I might call up a friend later today (Thursday) to see if she would like to take her kids to the midnight party at Barnes and Noble (or Walmart) and I will pay for the books for them. As a thanks you for the stuff she have done for me. Or go to movie to see the latest Harry Potter and then get something to eat and head to the party. Otherwise if not, I might just plan a whole day to myself and do a Potter celebration all on my own. It not because I want to attend the party, it because I want to get the book! *grin* LOL

3. If you’re not going to read it, why not?

Of course I'm going to read it *grin*, just not right away....just until am finish with book #3-6 first

4. And, for the record… what do you think? Will Harry survive the series? What are you most looking forward to?

I think Harry will survive. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever happen that is await me. I want Ron and Hermione to end up together. But most importantly I can't wait to see how the book end - who die who survive :)

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Hey Julia, I think that's great that you compromised with your niece about reading the books and ending up liking them, hehe.

Like all the readers out there, I'd like to see Harry (Ron & Hermione as well) survive the series! And I'm also hoping Ron & Hermione will end up together!

Happy BTT! :)

Hi Julia! Glad to see you got into HP as well. It's a pretty good story and the kids grew up along the way. It isn't a total young adult book... but I'm one of those who believe that there are many, many young adult books out there that are so much better than books targeted at adults. Hehehe. I guess that means I'm still in touch with my inner kid :) Happy reading!

Hey Kat! - I'm still with my inner kid self sometime *grin*. But you right the Potter's books are not only a hit with kids but to adult too :)

Thanks you two for stopping by! Have a good Harry Potter weekend of fun!

LMAO! I understand. I read a lot as well and a lot of other genres but I try and get my hands on HP quicly mainly to avoid spoilers all over the net. I HATE knowing what happens before I read the books.

Mailyn - I understand completely. I hate to be spoiled too, when I have not read it yet. One thing for sure am just nervous but yet at same time excited and can't wait to see the out come of the ending to HP 7.
