Hero

Booking Through Thursday

You should have seen this one coming … Who is your favorite Male lead character? And why?

I can honestly tell you whole list of male lead characters that are my favorite. But than I weren't want to make your butt fall asleep *grin*. It hard to list them all, but I have broken it down to some of the most favorite male characters (in no particular order). These male are the most strong, brave, sexy, bad boy, dark alpha men with some humors thrown in. And maybe a little tall dark and handsome or tortured male. And some are not what they all seem to be as people (from the books) made them to be. This is my favorite type of men in books. The following are my favorite.....(and I'm sure when I visit your blog, I'm going to say "Ah Ha! Yes, I forgot him too" *grin*)

- Roarke (In Death series)
- Sam Starett (Troubleshooter series)
- Max Bhagat (Troubleshooter series)
- Jamie Fraser (Outlander series)
- Bastien Toussaint (ICE series)
- Matthew Farrell ("Paradise")
- Joe Winston ("Say No to Joe")

Any male characters from Linda Howard books, any male characters from Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series, Male from Shannon Mckenna's McCloud Brother series...etc. There lot more, but I'm blanking on them at the moment. Hopefully I will remember more when I visit your blog! :)

What about you? Who is your favorite male characters?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Ya know, I can't think of anyone to mention. Isn't that sad? All those women last week and I'm coming up short on the men.

I'm sorry to say I don't know any of them either and possibly wouldn't like them if I did as I'm afraid my choice is definitely not of the alpha male variety. Oh well it would be a poor look out if we all fancied the same man.

The only character I've heard of is Roarke. But seeing your "currently reading" list made me think of two I totally forgot...Ranger and Joe from the Stephanie Plum series!

Happy BTT and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Outlander books. Romance and time-travel - what could be better? One more series I have to try!

I have to say that I have only heard of Jamie.

As for Edmond Dantes, he was the main character in Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo.

Julia, I'm definitely not surprised with some of your answers, haha...

Well, I can't say I've heard of any of them, but I keep hearing about the Outlander series. I may have to check it out. I do agree with you as to what makes a male lead character wonderful, however.

Thanks for stopping by.

Susuan - I guess you think you just look up to your heroine and want to be them. I hope you give those men I listed, a chance :)

table talk - You right, it would have been boring if everyone like the same things :)

Pussreboot - I hope you give these men a chance if ever you decided to read about them :)

Trisha - Glad to see we have common with Roarke, and yes Joe and Ranger is one of the good hero too :)

JLshell - Yes please do read the Outlander series! I feel like I'm a kid sitting down in front of Diana Gabaldon telling me one of the greatest story in history.

Aria - Did you ever read Jamie? Or you just heard of him? Give him a chance of reading, I think you'll like it. Thanks for explaining to me who Edmond Dantes is. I might give him a chance of reading. If I can find the book :)

Melody - Of course, you and I probably have ALMOST similiar tastes in reading :)

CJ - Please do try the Outlander series, I think you might like it. I'm glad you agree with me about what make male lead characters wonderful. What other authors do you read?

Jennifer - I hope that you give these list of men a try someday!

Thanks everyone for stopping by, I hope you visit me again soon! Happy BTTs and a good day!

Bastien and Roarke. I've seen them on several list now and I could just kick myself for not including them on mine.

It's been a few months since I read an "In Death" book, so I can forgive myself for such an oversight. There's no excuse for forgetting Bastien, since I just read Black Ice last month!

Oh,well.

Christina - If you just started on Anne Stuart's ICE series, than you have lot more books to look forward to. Bastien is my favorite, but all the other men are yummy too :)

I haven't read the latest In Death book yet, but I'm hoping to catch up on that soon :)

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you visit me again soon! Have a good days!
